1. Service Description

AI Duet ("Service") is a hybrid model API routing service that orchestrates requests between multiple AI models (Opus and GPT) to provide intelligent code generation and planning capabilities. The Service is operated by AI Duet ("we", "us", "our").

2. Account & API Keys

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must not share your API keys with unauthorized third parties. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models
• Resell or redistribute API access without written permission
• Exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage controls
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it

4. Billing & Payments

The Service uses a pre-loaded balance system. You pay for tokens consumed at the rates displayed on our pricing page. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Unused balance is non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to suspend service if your balance reaches zero.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all input you send to and output you receive from the Service. We do not claim any rights to your content. We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the Service.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service depends on third-party AI model providers and infrastructure. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers, network issues, or scheduled maintenance.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked and remaining balance will be handled according to applicable law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
